Elijvh, a multi-genre injection artist, dropped a 14 track LP on November 1st, 2019. As he wraps up the year, with the LP titled “Majestic Sun,” having released Sol Pack, a two-piece release, as well as the song Chances, previously in 2019.
Let’s just put out there that 13 out of the 14 tracks were produced and written by Elijvh.
“Majestic Sun” starts with the track “Pride,” a guitar chord progression that leads into a vocal swirl by Elijvh and backing singers. With the California states, one more chance for his love it all he wants. The electric guitar riff smacks in with an NYC drum kit that hit us home, with Elijvh asking to follow him. The song feels epic, an important opener to the LP “Majestic Sun.”
Following “Pride,” Elijvh gives us an uptempo club-like track titled “Truth Be Told.” Elijvh brings us the street side of his music, and the transitions work exceptionally well and move the song forward.
The left curve on this LP, in my opinion, has to be the track “Unforgiven.”
Being an old school soul in Hip Hop, my love has to be on this song. The track feels 80’s with the instrumental and Elijvh’s vocal flow. The transition to the part at 1:49 hits hard that brings that new sound in and the composition of Elijvh vocals.
Bring the LP forward to the track “Desert Rain,” the R&B comes out, which Elijvh delivers. With perfection backing tracks and vocal melody, the talent shines by this remarkable artist just by listening to this track. The vocals alone really capture what Elijvh is achieving on this whole compsition.
Winding down on the LP “Majestic Sun,” the last single we receive on the 14 track drop, is titled “Diamond In The Wind.” A wordsmith song with a brain worm hook. Listen to the hook once, and you will know the hook by the second injection. A perfect ending to the album as it is feels subtle and leaves us wanting to start from the Begining again.
We leave our mark with a 5/5 as we feel “Majestic Sun” was written and truly produced for the people. From the heart and mind by Elijvh.
