Chris Brown is getting back on the silver screen. According to Variety this time, he’s teaming up with Nick Cannon in a soon to be released film, called “She Ball” which will also be starting Cedric the Entertainer, Evan Ross and Rebecca De Mornay.
The film is centred around a women’s basketball team in the streets. It tells the story of Avery Wyatt (Nick Cannon) who enlists this team of badass female basketballers to save Inglewood Community Center which seems to be facing enemy forces while also trying to bring up his daughter the right way.
Nick Cannon is just starring in the film. He’s also directing and producing the film with Demetrius Spencer of One Media Worldwide and Ball Up which happens to be the studio behind the streetball league.
Cannon is quite excited about the film and declares it a powerful movie that will uplift the community and empower women. Demetrius also has mentioned that he always wanted to do a basketball movie because it would have a feel of the urban films that trended during his growing up and women’s basketball is an amazing twist to it.
