Marquette King has dropped a feel-good club track titled “This Side.” The track features female artist Annabelle and certainly hits that new-age sound of pop-hop.
The track commences with a mid-low synth melody that is easily rememberable and catches the ears to bring in Marquette King to turn the party vibe on high.
His voice and lyrics catch the listener as he brings them on a ride and keeps the anthem rolling with lyrics, “keep that over there.”
Annabelle jumps into the track with her bars, and the transition is flawless. Marquette King and Annabelle pair well together, and I couldn’t hear anyone else on the track with Marquette King.
Marquette King changes up the track to bring in the Hip Hop style on his end at the two-minute mark of the song. His ear on the high low switch with his voice is noticeable, and he extremely good at it.
Marquette King is not only known for his multi-genre and mediums, but he is also an actor and a professional sports player. The Arizona-based athlete is an All-Pro NFL Punter for the Oakland Raiders and later the Denver Broncos. Due to an injury, Marquette King is off the field and using this time to do what he loves. That is expressing himself through sound combining of EDM, House, and Pop-Hop.
