Man-E-Fest is back with a brand-new record called “Blessings”. The track displays a different style and feeling than his last club stomper “Grown Man”. The song has a chill and slow down tempo which demonstrations that Man-E-Fest has more than just club in his vibes.
“Count your blessings better count that money. Count me out if you ain’t getting money”.
The theme revolves around money and blessings. Woman, drugs, drinking, haters, love, is last in line when it comes to paper chasing.
The beat has a lot of space with a hard-hitting drum kit. A reverse and panning synth is placed in the back with a life line beep on the down beat to the side.
One of my favorite qualities of Man-E-Fest is his unique voice. As raspy as it is, there is a touch of clean that evens out his vocal performance.
The 2:29 track could have been longer however, it makes you eager for the next release by Man-E-Fest.
Michelle’s Top Lyrics:
“It’s ok cause I’m loving on my haters. Make it back in day that’s why they hate us”.
