Lamont Barz has dropped an all-out vibed track titled “LA Fitness Anthem.” The new single and visuals are all about getting to the gym, working out, feeling good, and accomplishing goals.

The single commences with an MC asking everyone to grab their gym apparel, something healthy to drink and get over to LA Fitness. The single has R&B vibes, and the female feature starts with a hook as Lamont Bar provides ad-libs and transitions into the verse with confident bars.

The music video is animated, which I salute the artist for as he changes things up. The scenes show gym fanatics, but the metaphor also tells us that Lamont Barz is all about the recording studio, as the gym is his studio.

The beat also has a jazz feel, with saxophone licks, groovy bass, some synth, and a drum kit that pushes the beat. I enjoy the halftime section at 3:06, and the narration begins as the instruments cool down. There is a conversation with two gentlemen, one providing confidence to the other to meet at the gym and keep working hard at his goals to succeed.

Overall the track “LA Fitness Anthem” by Lamont Barz is creative, different than what most artists are doing these days, and the theme works consistently with the visuals.
