LOS ANGELES, CA – Tyler, The Creator brought his Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles over the weekend. During Sunday night’s (November 10) set, fans were expecting to see Frank Ocean close out the show but instead, they got a surprise guest — Drake. They were not happy.
Drake was revealed as a surprise headliner but fans seemed to think that crooner Frank Ocean would be taking the stage. According to music site Genius, concert goers took their disappointment out on Drake.
Apparently, the crowd wasn’t very happy with the last-minute switch up and made it painfully clear for Drake they wanted Ocean with a “We want Frank” chant. Drake even offered to stay a little longer, but the audience wasn’t having it.
As stated by TMZ, Drake apparently received the message. After thanking the Camp Flog Gnaw attendees, he ended his set early before quickly exiting the stage.
“Like I said, I’m here for you tonight,” he said after performing “Wu-Tang Forever.” “If you want to keep going, I will keep going.” He added, “It’s been love. I go by the name of Drake. Thank you all for having me.”
The Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival boasted additional performances from Yasiin Bey, Juice WRLD, Solange, YG, Brockhampton, DaBaby, 21 Savage, H.E.R. and, of course, Tyler.
